Continuing Education (CE) Provider:

Training is appropriate for all behavioral health professional licenses' continuing education.

Texas Community Health Workers (CHW): Training Organization (Centene Corporation, Certificate # 89) Approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services (Expiration 6.30.2025)

 


NBCC (National Board for Certified Counselors):

Centene Corporation has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6673. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Centene Corporation is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

 

Continuing Education Approvals Through Other CE Providers or Boards:

There may be trainings where Centene Corporation has applied and been granted the ability to offer CEs or CMEs through other CE Providers or CE Boards.  Please see those training registrations and/or agendas for those approvals. If you have questions about other CE approvals that are not listed on this page, please contact the CE Program Administrator.

CE Requirements:

  • Instructor-Led Training: In order to receive continuing education for an Instructor-Led Training, participants must attend the entire course and complete the required test (s).  All attendees are offered an evaluation.  If all requirements are completed, participants will receive their CE eligible certificate within 30 calendar days via email.  Board approvals will be listed on the certificate.  If a board is not listed, professionals will need to submit the training to their board for approval.
  • On-Demand Training: In order to be granted continuing education for an On-Demand Training, participants must attend entire course, and pass the post-test with an 80% or higher.  All attendees are offered an evaluation.  If all requirements are completed, participants will receive their CE eligible certificate within 45 calendar days via email.  Board approvals will be listed on the certificate.  If a board is not listed, professionals will need to submit the training to their board for approval.

Certificates:

  • Instructor-Led Training: Certificates will be issued to all participants that met the CE requirements within 30 calendar days from the end of training.  A certificate will be emailed to the participant.
  • On-Demand Training: Certificates will be issued to all participants that met the CE requirements within 45 calendar days after the completion of the training.  A certificate will be emailed to the participant.

Course Fees and Cancellations:

Training is offered at no cost.  Cancelations would be appreciated 24 hours in advance of the training. In the rare occurrence that Centene Corporation needs to cancel or reschedule a training event, attendees will be notified by email as soon as possible.
